In this report, Ubisoft acknowledged all these long-standing problems. Ubisoft is fully aware of all R6S long-standing issues, like cheating or toxicity, and working behind the scenes to plan its counterattack. To do so, there must be A LOT of changes. I believe it would get a lot of the old player base back into the game, as well attract big-name streamers. I think the best solution for the future of the game is to compromise the current state of the game versus its old game and test it out on TTS. Shroud a few years back made quite a run with siege and eventually ran out of interest. However, in my opinion, the biggest problem with this era of siege is that there are no big streamers representing the game. Pro match viewership is not doing either. I understand that steam chart is only reflective of the PC steam users, but it does correlate with the health of our entire playbase. We are now at around 40k players on steam, roughly the same amount of players in the November of 2017. R6 has been losing its player base steadily for the past six months now.
